Major League Baseball welcomed both the Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds to their new Arizona home with the Goodyear Ballpark. The newest teams to join spring training’s Cactus League prepare for the season at the $108 million dollar multi-purpose development. In addition to the centerpiece of this new multipurpose complex, the site includes separate state of the art clubhouse facilities for each Ohio based team.Trademark Visual partnered with general contractor Barton Malow and architect Populous to implement the project’s environmental graphics.

Highlighting raw natural materials, each sign integrates seamlessly within the surrounding architecture. Use of these unique materials, such as oxidized cor-ten steel, required specialized engineering and fabrication methods. As Signs of the Times writes in the ‘Signs of Eternal Spring’ March 2010 article, Trademark Visual states “The opportunity to create distinctive signs from unusual materials, and work with a top-flight architect and GC, makes these types of architectural-sign projects especially worthwhile.”.
